The never ending group chat The house WhatsApp group is the lifeline of communication, or, more realistically, the place where memes, gossip, and random observations reign supreme. Blink, and you’ll have missed 50+ messages. Among the chaos, there’s usually one important message buried somewhere about rent payments, chores, or bin day. 6. The bin standoff Ah, the overflowing bin: the nemesis of every student house. Forget exam stress or a looming deadline; the real challenge is figuring out who’s responsible for taking out the trash. Bin day is the ultimate test of teamwork, and when you forget to put it out, you’ll quickly realise just how important it really is; especially in a house of six or seven people!
